Love for Boutique Hotels

I am a loyal subscriber to Tablet Hotels - a booking website for boutique hotels. I subscribe to it not because I can afford to travel all the time and live in one of these fancy pretty hotels, I do because the hotels they featured on their website are so pretty, trendy and unconventional! It's definitely very enjoyable to look at once in a while when I am dreaming away to travel somewhere.

Weekend at the Wine Country

D & I just hit our first year mark at around September/October - ish. Since D wanted to taste some wine and I wanted to take some pretty pictures at the wine country, we decided to take a weekend off and have a little celebration at Niagara on the Lake! Besides, the fall weather was the perfect time to go!

We did a little wine tour at Pillitteri Estates Winery, who had a rich history and won numerous wine contests (according to the guide) and sure enough, D and I both agreed that the wine tastes really good. 

Next we went to Ravine Vineyard for our Anniversary meal, and damnn this place is sooo cute, and the food is delicious!

and here comes the DELICIOUS FOOD, it was quite heavenly

Baby Romain Salad, the anchovies they added perfectly complimented the salad, seriously the best salad I have ever had!

We were told that these delicious food came from their own backyard, mm just delicious. It was relatively small and cozy restaurant. Where we sat had a very nice view over their vineyard.

and that was our pleasant anniversary weekend at the vineyards :)

Hello and welcome to my blog!

My name is Susan and I'd like to say I am an artist at heart. I was born in a small beautiful island called Taiwan and now I reside in Toronto Canada after graduating my studies in Bachelor of Fine Arts at Ryerson Theatre School.

I was always known as artistic at a young age, yet till this day I am still confused to what I can do with that talent. I adore beautiful things in life, no matter small or big, they are the bits and pieces that makes me really happy, which is why I decided to start this blog. To record every beautiful moment and things I enjoy in life and I hope this helps me find paths along the way.

I am not very good with writings & words so you will have to excuse me with blasting pictures on this blog, which is why I call it a "picture blog"(and trust me this is the most writings I will have on my blog! ) This blog will contain mainly pictures of food, of travels, of art, style, design, sunsets and just everything else beautiful.
